It's hard to see behind me at a glance.
Placing my hand a certain way allows me to see back through my body and arm, but this is far from ideal. I can stretch out my arm to get a better view, but that's not desirable when I'm on the move and I just need to quickly see if there are cars behind me. I do not regret the purchase at this price, I still keep it in my pannier but I did not use it since I had normal mirrors.
