I used this product on a recent vacation where the airline only allowed a small carry-on. It was nice to have lots of zipped compartments to organize all my hand items. It was really easy to access everything I need during the flight, unlike my other packages where everything goes straight downstairs. Note that this is more of a colorful computer bag than a day trip. It worked well for me, but when things got heavy I missed the padding and waist straps of my Osprey.
