Keeps liquids cold. The Rambler 18 is the perfect size to fit on my indoor bike, take it everywhere, and fit in my car cup holders. I have large 32 ounce glasses and while I find it more convenient to refill less often throughout the day, it doesn't keep the water cold as long and doesn't fit in my cup holders. CHUG CAP IS NOT FOR HOT LIQUIDS. This is stated in the instructions and product description. Buy a special lid for hot liquids. Many reviewers complain that it doesn't hold hot liquids long enough, but that's not what a puff lid is designed for. I bought another cap (with a straw) that is compatible with this Rambler on Amazon and works fine.
