So the good news is that the picks work great and are solid, worthy of the Kelty name. I stoned her with no side effects. They are lighter than the small aluminum poles that come with most tents. And they are tough. The pre-assembled loops also make them relatively easy to remove. Why not five stars? Because there are only six of them in a pack! Why Kelly? My new Kelty tent requires four corner posts, two flysheet/shutter posts and at least two extra poles. There really should be at least eight of these things in a pack, if not ten just in case.
