I've read some reviews that mentioned poor quality glue. Just thought for the price of this set you could buy a roll of good double sided tape if you need it. Well I don't have to. In most cases, non-adhesion is due to surface preparation and not the tape itself. I first cleaned my bike's mounting surfaces with an all purpose cleaner, wiped dry, then rubbed well with rubbing alcohol and allowed to air dry. Even in the fenders and on the underside of the body panels, these headlights stick out as if nothing happened after 4 months of driving in very hot, very cold and rainy weather. The only reason I wear them on my bike is to improve nighttime visibility. . In the back, even with the optional tail/brake light I installed last year, I was too inconspicuous at night. The lights themselves are good. Bright enough although I was hoping they were a little brighter. I use the brake light feature, which turns all lights red when I step on the brakes. My wife has followed me in the car a couple of times and says people can see me with no problem now. Mission accomplished! If you drive them (and not just use them for parking display), make sure you know the laws in your state (or any state you're traveling through) regarding acceptable colors.
