Review on πŸ‘– Tru-Spec Men's 24-7 Series Tactical Pant: Unleashing Unrivaled Originality by Justin Live

Good, not perfect - uniform, work and security

I bought one of these pants and two pairs of 5.11 Pro Taclite pants at the same time to compare which are better. My main goal was to have pants that I could wear every day and also carry my gun on my belt. With traditional IWB pants, you need larger pants. So if you don't wear them, they're just too big. Both brands have an elastic band and to be honest I think TRU-SPEC wins the elastic for looks. It doesn't look like an elastic waistband. I also carry a knife (paramilitary 2) and if carrying a firearm, a spare magazine, cell phone, wallet and keys. 5.11 victories in this category. They have the perfect pocket for my knife on the front right and the perfect pocket on the left for my spare magazine. These TRU pants have a pocket on the right side for my knife, but they're not as comfortable or as big for a large knife. They have a magazine pouch, but it's in one of the cargo pockets. I also give the 5.11 credit for the belt loop location. When I first got both brands I initially liked the TRU SPEC more than the 5.11 but after wearing my EDC load and using both pants I will be buying more. Pants 5.11 instead of these pants. They just fold better for my personal needs and are the right pocket size for my EDC items and in the right places. Those are still great pants. Outperforms my old Carhartt for comfort and versatility at all times. So still a good choice. But Taklit conquered me.
