Chemical odor on fish and aquatic animals
When I first ordered the product I was a bit confused as the sponges were vacuum sealed. After I let them in the air, they rose very well. They have a bit of a chemical smell, but you can tell it's just a manufacturing process. Let her breathe and everything will be fine. I have these sponges in 2 of my betta tanks and they are doing great.
