Review on Premium Classic Solid Skinny Necktie by Joseph Whiteman

Stunning color and goes perfectly with my work attire. One major downside: durability. I knew what I was expecting when I bought the tie for less than fifteen dollars, didn't expect any real durability from it, but it is actually more fragile than I expected. Light contact with the velcro area (on the hook side) ripped out so many fibers it created a "fluffy" area in the middle of my tie. Came home, took them off with an electric razor, everything looks normal again, but now the fabric in this place seems dangerously thin, and I really doubt that it will survive the second encounter of this kind. Also, the seams are beginning to fail in some places. It's not enough that it's falling apart, but that's not a good sign. On the other hand, it suits me. I work in a restaurant, stains, tears and snags are inevitable, even with a tie bar to roll them up. I buy ties for work with the idea that after a few months they will be beyond repair. So having what I can call a disposable tie is priceless. I only took off one star because I understand that most buyers are probably thinking longer term than I am and may be disappointed with the quality of this product. throw it. But don't expect to pass it on to your grandson.
