Nice light with physical dimmer

Nice light with physical dimmer. I really like this light, it's not too bright. I use it in the dark next to my bed and I don't want to see smudges when I turn it on. I adjust the brightness with a rotary switch and then turn the outlet on/off with a switch. When you turn on the outlet, the light is exactly the same dim brightness set on the dial. It's good at night so it won't be too bright until you play with it to dim it properly. However, when mounted on a wall, the light will wobble as you move/flex the bendable neck. The round base wobbles and gives you a secure feeling when you tilt your neck forward or back. Moving the neck from side to side will not shake the base. I have attached photos to the instructions to explain this. There is a bracket that attaches to the wall. I attached mine to a wooden board and it is very strong and solid with no movement. You then attach the lamp to this bracket. That's where the flex comes in, and there's really no way to stop it. I think you could drill a hole and put a screw in it to mount the outer round box directly into the wall. Otherwise, expect your light to wobble. There are many very similar lights out there and I'm pretty sure they mount the same way and experience similar vibrations.
