Suitable for slightly thicker hair. I bought it more for those bad hair days, which usually happen when my hair is a bit tangled and frizzy. My hair is already thick and curly, but getting frizzy makes it thicker. It is good for thick hair if you apply it right after shampooing or when it is damp. Then when it dries, it still stays. However, this doesn't work very well if your hair is already dry and you just want to secure it with a bobby pin. Be careful when buying if you have thick hair as mine falls out all the time. I wish I could find a bobby pin bobby pin for thick hair and to be classy, but that's not happening.
