It was actually a lot thicker than I expected which was perfect. I bought it to put on the inside of my door and on the base of my car doors. They often get scratches from shoes when people get off. I learned my lesson on a previous car and wanted to get something as early as possible to avoid scratches. So far it has held up to 25 degrees weather and I'm happy with it. It doesn't feel as sticky as you'd like, but don't let that discourage you. If you press it down, it holds very well. I held my hands up for about 20 seconds for better adhesion.
