My father is older and keeps scratching his feet when getting in and out. I use my car for business all the time, so it's important to keep it good. It's easier to wipe off than a real sill and there's no risk of damaging my real car with rocks etc stuck in the soles almost imperceptibly.

I really wanted this. I recently bought a 2019 Kia EX and was concerned about how to protect the two sides of the footrest from dirt. This article was the perfect material for my cause and purpose. If you are in a similar situation as me, I strongly recommend you to have it. You won't be disappointed with this stuff at all. I will buy it again too.

This film seems thick enough to protect my painted rocker panels. It was easy to apply and I would recommend doing it on a warm day for better film adhesion. It's easy enough to pull off if you need to readjust if you put some muscle into it. It will stick with no problem. I haven't tested it yet: I've put heavy-legged passengers in my car. But I'm pretty sure it will be durable enough to take a few bumps and scrapes off the shoe. If not, I will update my review.

This is a thick self-adhesive vinyl tape. I couldn't get a bubble-free install despite trying multiple times. That means I put it on a few times and then took it off again.
