Overall they arent quite as bright as expected, but they'll work just fine.One thing that I dislike is that while the remotes are identical frequencies, they dont have identical results on the color changes. I own 2 other jackets of the same style from other manufacturers which were in the same price range. This one runs circles around them with quality and construction. The coat is light in weight but warm and if you layer it is even warmer. I have not worn it in the rain, but what I can tell you my other two jackets are made of the same material and they do keep you dry for an extended period of time. I want to start by being totally honest, I haven't used this yet! These are very blackout in the gray, its a med gray, beautiful fabric, good quality. Ive been looking for a while, bought 4 sets and sent them all back. These ,out of the package smelled funky,, like bad funky. Cant explain it,, must be a chemical they use in manufacturing, but it disapated.
