Thick Tape: Door Sill Guard
This is a thick self-adhesive vinyl tape. I couldn't get a bubble-free install despite trying multiple times. That means I put it on a few times and then took it off again. I tried to put it on my truck's painted sill to avoid scratching it. I applied it directly to the painted surface after wiping the surface with alcohol. Then I didn't spray the surface with a soapy solution that could have been used during installation. There were no instructions. Then I bought 3M tape which is a bit thinner but made it easier to remove the blister.
