Silicone is very soft, pleasant to the touch but breaks very easily when used with heavy hands becomes. I will not be returning them and I plan to donate them in a situation where they can find a good home that appreciates the concept and design of the 4th generation Apple TV remotes. I'll skip this one (3 stars) but only because the sandwich would cost more and be healthier for me. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it.
