Sometimes it can be difficult to put them on top of an avocado. It all depends on the size of the avocado. I have a feeling the large one is too big even for large avocados. It doesn't prevent tanning 100%, but again, it doesn't bother me since I usually eat the other half the next day. I love that I don't use plastic wrap every time I wrap an avocado. I've thrown them in the dishwasher a few times and they survived. If you have an avocado that's slightly larger than a small one, but definitely smaller than a large one, it can get tight trying to dress it up with the small one. But that seems to be the best way.
