SQUARE HOMT1515 HOMELINE CIRCUIT BREAKER Review

Bought and installed without problems. I have some electrical work to do to replace the outlet that this switch plugs into and I unplugged the switch for the first time since it was installed and it broke the first time I used it.

Don't waste your money. This switch did not fit in the panel. The switch was bigger than the groove it was supposed to go in. The model number matched, but there were no dice. Should have gone to the power supply store first

In the photos for circuit breakers, the lower part is not very clearly visible, which made it possible to buy the wrong circuit breaker. The groove on the one received was too shallow and did not allow proper installation. Always refer to the images to select the correct switch as there are many different styles of Square D switches and they are not interchangeable.

I bought 2 circuit breakers and both were defective. They had a sticker on the side that said "new"; which is strange to me. Used for sale? The switch on both circuit breakers was misadjusted and did not move to either position as intended. When set to 1, the circuit breaker tripped continuously while the other was fully off and not transferring power. What a shitty deal. I am returning both.

Bought a square D switch box for an electrical project because it was well known and everyone seemed to have spare parts! For some reason after 5 years only one of the two duplex switches in the defective switch was working.
