The world of photography has always been turned upside down. Think back 30 years ago when all your prints came from Kodak or some other big lab. And then 30-Minute stores started popping up at WallMart, pharmacies, and other retail outlets. It was your only choice unless you were printing your own images in your own lab. Then set the clock to the 90s. Digital photography, cheap cameras and cameras in cell phones. It wasn't long before most printing was done on a PC. Yes, there were times when you could send your file to a print shop, or take your camera or flash drive to a print shop that hadn't seen an actual film in years. Well, I should have told you all that. so i could tell you that I also print 99% of my photos at home. I have photo quality paper, the same as for the photos I will be framing or distributing. For the rest of the photos I use 60lb Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover Stock. It has a slightly smooth surface that makes it look a bit like glossy photo paper. Quality and color reproduction are superb, and you won't go broke printing and sharing photos. It's a shame that Kodak fell into the trap of a paradigm shift.
