I've worked with music and bands on the road for years, and while I still promote gigs, a new direction and calling in my life led me to pastoral ministry at a local church. Although I am a pastor, standing in the pulpit has never been my style or even my comfort. I like to stand on the ground, move and at most speak from a music stand. Sunday school teaching and Sunday morning worship quickly dry up in the throat. I needed a place for water and the music stand is not good. Also, holding one of them prevented me from using my hands. I remember drummers using this clip on their coasters on the go and decided to give it a try. These things are tight and tight. They don't move when attached to a mic stand, music stand, or drum kit. It easily holds a bottle of water or even my coffee without spilling anything. They don't let your drink move, but they don't squeeze it so hard that you can't easily sip and drink from it. I recommend them to pastors and drummers.
