They are soft and thick, but not so soft that you feel unsafe or unsupported. I wear size 8.5, have a rather narrow foot and they fit perfectly. My friend has wider feet and when he tried them on he complained that they pinched his feet. I wear them comfortably with and without socks and the foam structure keeps them from slipping off when walking. Photo about a month later I wear socks inside the apartment, I don't wear them outside. I work 12 hour days mostly on my feet and when I get home they feel so good. They aren't marketed as warm, but the foam is thick enough to protect my feet from the cold floor, especially when wearing socks. I like them better than fluffy slippers because when it's hot or your feet sweat they don't get wet or smelly. They can be washed, and if I spill something on them while cooking, they wipe up immediately. I bought them to wear in my boyfriend's apartment when I visit him because he has no carpet and the floors are cold and hard. I like them so much I want to buy a pair for my apartment. I also think pink is cute. They're not the cheapest option, but I think they're worth the money and they're sturdy.
