Update 09/13/2021 This hair straightener worked well as you can read in my happy review. after prolonged use. The body of the straightener started to melt and the pink color and plastic actually got stuck in my daughter's hair as she created curls like she used to with them. Very scary he might burn her fingers, hand, hand. Very disappointed with this product. I think it only works for about a month and then it starts to melt. My return window has closed and now I'm stuck with a melting hair straightener. It ruined quite a bit of my baby's hair. And then it even closes completely, I'm not sure if that's how we got it, or the shape has deteriorated from the melting of the outer casing. Now I don't even know how much heat affects the hair. the best straightener you can buy at the mall for a fraction of the cost. Her hair is naturally wavy and she has been asking for her own hair straightener for about 2 years and I came across this cute pink one and just had to buy it. Thanks for the other reviewers, I thought this would be a good starter for them. She straightens her hair at least twice a week. I really like that it has no odor when heated compared to others we've tried. The great thing is that we can adjust and fix the temperature so that it stays the same at any desired temperature. We love these because they create beautiful curls or "beachy waves" and really last for days if we don't wash our hair every day. So, let's get creative. Another teenager of mine loves the color blue. I wish they wore the same blue hair straightener to match their other hair implements. Excellent purchase!
