So this monitor is the right one. The color appears to be a bit duller than the one on the left, but this is a comparison of this $120 monitor versus a $260 monitor. I was able to get a rough idea of their color quality in the Nvidia control panel, but one mechanical thing is odd to me. The monitor snaps onto the stand without bolts or screws. I don't think it will fall at all, but it wobbles quite a bit. Luckily, the easiest solution is to get your own monitor stand, which I already have with this monitor that just arrived early. Other than that, I think it's perfect for a second monitor and even for gaming. [though if you're really into gaming like me, I would recommend a monitor with a higher refresh rate]
