This fits my arm from the thumb hole to almost my underarm. For me it's plenty long enough. It stays up without any problems. I have dry skin and sometimes I scratch my arms in my sleep, sometimes until I get an abrasion. This keeps me from doing that. They also keep my arms warm and protect well from the southwestern sun which can be very hot at times. It's thick material and is well made and stitched. Since the material is similar to womens stockings I suggest when you wash them do it by hand in lukewarm water with just a little liquid soap, then hang to dry. If you have big arms or big bingo arms(loose skin on arm from elbow to underarm) you may want to get bigger ones. My forearms are 9 inches around and my biceps are 12 inches and they fit me perfect. I recommend these.
