Review on CAGE COMPANY AE500S Table Stand by Julia Cano

My cockatoo loves it!

This is a nice perch which I know will serve my pink-breasted cockatoo for a very long time. Bought a medium sized one. In terms of scale, my cockatoo is smaller than all the others. It is about 2/3 the size of an African Gray. Let's look at the pros and cons: BENEFITS - The actual wood/limbs are the perfect size for my bird. They're small enough for him to easily grab with his feet, but still strong enough for him to climb and chew on. The entire stand, including the base, is the perfect height for a countertop or firebox that I place mine in. .- I've seen people say that the bowl is in a weird place for their feathered friends, but mine is the perfect spot for my bird. CONS - The bottom of the stand is thin, cheap, like wood. it doesn't seem that strong and my little bird will destroy it if it tries to chew on it. - It comes with a screw on the bottom of the actual wooden pole that you unscrew, attach the base and screw back on. but my screw was so hard to get out of the bottom of the wooden bar because it was so tight. I'm not very strong, but I think everyone will have a hard time. The bowl was made out of really cool material, but it felt very greasy and I had to wash it twice to remove it. The paranoia was driving me crazy that my bird would eat this. - The eyelets could be in a better position, but this is easily remedied by wearing more. In general, the bird likes it and spends all day on it. Everyone will look different so keep that in mind.
