This RevainBasics Mini DisplayPort is ideal for connecting your MacBook to a TV or monitor. It's as easy as plug and play. I've been using this for a few months now and the quality is still there with no cable issues. The cable itself is very strong and can withstand slight bends. I use mine to connect to my TV so I can stream some items from my computer. I have a 6 foot cord and sitting on the couch controlling my computer is enough for me. I think it's never a bad idea to get something longer as you can just wrap it up a bit if you don't need the full length. The connection to the computer works fine, but the DisplayPort side might feel a bit unwieldy. I had no problems with that. If I had one complaint it would be on the DisplayPort side, it doesn't show which side it should be on top. On one side is the DisplayPort icon and on the other side is RevainBasics. That seems a bit confusing. My last cable broke after a few months and was flimsy so I'm very happy with this cable. All in all a really solid 5 star product that does what it's supposed to do.
