Review on Steadyrack Classic Rack Wall Mounted Solution by Jenna Perez

This bike carrier is very well made, but the design is not for everyone. Based on the reviews I was hoping this would be a good solution for mounting two of my winged Trek hybrids. The problem is that the bracket is very wide and extremely difficult to fit between the tire and fender. The first problem, as others have mentioned, is that you can't roll the bike upright onto a stand without pulling and scratching the rear fender. It's not really a boot issue, but something to be aware of if you have full fenders. However, when I tried to put the bike on the trunk, I found that I had to hold the bike at an angle so the fender wouldn't scratch while I was moving. At the same time, try to squeeze and feed the cradle between the hoop and wing. I've read instructions for bending the wing feathers, but it's impossible to do that near the wing where it gets stuck the most. I really wanted this to work, but it wasn't worth the effort to put it on the wall.
