I ordered this literally two days before Derby Day. It was a last minute order and second choice but turned out to be the best option. It was a windy day. The hat is adjustable and can be tied inside. However, I did use a safety pin for extra security and I'm glad I did. Packed was fine. The only thing I had to do was use a blow dryer on low speed to smooth out a few wrinkles. I also filled it to shape the night before. Nothing that would require a lot of work. The material is ok but this is a hat I will wear again. It's more suited to spring/summer, but it filled the need!
