I've been looking for a replacement for my Upright for a long time. I started looking at canisters, thinking they might not only be easier to carry, but easier to slide across the carpet. But after assembling it, which wasn't difficult at all, I set about cleaning it. It ran smoothly over both carpet and hardwood floors once I adjusted the suction and power settings. It's light and very quiet. Bagless and no dirt gets near or wraps around the filter. Simply press a button to deflate. The jets are small but work. I can use them in many places. If I need to reach the ceiling a little further, I can put it on a piece of furniture and not worry about it falling down like a handheld vacuum. The on/off and cord storage buttons are large and easy to use. I like the auto rewind feature. Filter he has several days filter. All HEPA and washable. Another useful feature is a "parking space" for an extension cord. With all the old canister vacuums that I remember, you had to struggle to hold the part of the vacuum that was in the corner or on the floor. This is a great addition to the 3 in 1 vacuum I just bought. This vacuum cleaner is for deep cleaning and the other for fast work.
