I base this statement on design and thoughtfulness. While the manufacturer's description on the product page could use a little massage in English translation, the information in their description says all the technical stuff I didn't say and is worth reading. I assume everything they said to be correct based on the blanket I received. We have a 20 pounder. Maybe we shouldn't have because it's our first weighted blanket. But here's what I can say; Once underneath I really felt the calming effect which was very helpful. It's honestly going to be a month or so before it gets cold in here before it's used at night, but until then I'll crawl under this thing if I'm feeling a bit "knocked out" to watch out for and you you may already know: A simple insert card from the manufacturer recommends buying a separate duvet cover. Fabulous! A twist in my front loader and I'm probably in line to buy a new washing machine. Wash the duvet, not the comforter. Good product, fair price. Recommended.
