Works well with my tripod head
I bought these mounts to be able to mount them on a couple of different cameras to use with a new tripod. They're a bit longer than the original plate, but that's actually an advantage as I can use the extra clearance in the plate for macro photography (moving the camera to get the lens in focus properly). I also like that this plate accepts 1/4" or 3/8" mounts (to attach one of my ball head mounts to this plate). Happy with the purchase.
