Review on 🌿 Alba Botanica Even & Bright Enzyme Scrub, 4 Oz – Enhancing Packaging Options by Mary Arakaki

I have used Alba products (acne cleanser and face scrub) before and really liked them. They didn't dry out my face and kept it almost acne free. I have had acne since my teens and am now in my 30's and although it has gotten a lot easier I still get acne from time to time. Trying new products is always risky because my skin is very sensitive; but since it was Alba, I took the plunge. The product arrived undamaged and tightly sealed - no problem. Alba uses fine walnut powder for her scrubs, so it's very fine and exfoliates well. There is almost no smell, the skin is fresh after use. However, I got pimples (I had no pimples before using) on my forehead, temples, chin, neck and above my lip. I used it for several days and my acne got worse. I went back to my current cleanser (Yes To Coffee Stick) and the pimples started healing *immediately* and disappeared the next day. This product didn't work at all on my skin, but hey, it's a gamble. I know not everything works for everyone, so it's not a big hoot. Maybe I'll give it to a friend to try.
