This item came without instructions or parts making it unclear what it is used for or how. As a result, I'm not sure I've attached it correctly and it seems to keep sliding down. My cats love that it doesn't last long. Also, the velcro end that attaches to the other side came loose as soon as I opened the packaging and separated it to attach to the chair. I will not buy this particular product again nor do I recommend it. The lack of instructions was a big problem.
