This pocket means he no longer has to stuff all of his belongings into the pockets of his cargo shorts, making him look like Torgo from Manos, Hands of Destiny. his shit is bigger, that's another plus. Fits his wallet, sunglass case. , tissues, phone, headphones, 2 sets of keys and there is room for a small water bottle etc. I don't think an iPad will fit unless it's a mini but I could be wrong - you should check the dimensions if it does is critical for you. Easily fits most Kindles. Nicely finished, good quality, thick fabric and good zippers. No loose threads or tricky seams. doesn't look fresh out of the box.
