I had camped previously with youth Scouting programs so I had experience with tents. While passing these poles through the tent slots, I used latex gloves after a few tiny, splinter like pole material fragments got in my hand. I didn't expect this, but the gloves worked. Did I buy this for my cat? Yes. Was it a great idea? Also yes. It's super durable so if she decides to power jump on it I'm the middle of the night, I won't have to worry that my table lamp is going to break in the process. My Grandchildren took this on a vacation for my 2 year old Great granson. They set it up in the air bnb and it was a huge hit. A new amusement when away from home, but will set it up again at their own home. It was small enough to take in the car, easy to set up and take down to bring home. A great idea for young kids. Highly recommended.

Finally able to give this Christmas gift to my 1 year old grandson. He loves it. I’m a bit concerned that his 5 year sister is a little too rambunctious moving between "rooms” but time will tell on durability. But initial reaction is positive.

We set up the tent (that arrived late) and one of the rods has like a week point, ans the tent doesn’t sit flat because the rod is week in the spot right next to the silver connection area. Hasn’t broke yet, but you can hear breaking. Maybe I can get a replacement rod?
