These clips use a rather odd gel-like adhesive that is quite sticky but allows for a slight slippage of the clip when first applied. So let it dry for a few hours before inserting the cables. The plastic clips themselves are big enough for an ethernet cable and possibly another extra very small diameter cable. However, they are small for two Ethernet cables - they can be inserted into the terminals, but are heavily loaded. Unfortunately, the brackets are quite fragile. I've already broken two of these cleanly by trying to connect a single ethernet cable to them. For this reason I cannot recommend them. There are much more durable analogues on the market.
