Form follows function

Before this purchase, I carried a large shoulder bag for a 17" laptop (and all its accessories) that had more pockets and compartments than a family of cargo pants. I use a Surface Pro, a tome, and a document folder for my daily meetings, so I was looking for a compact, easy-to-access bag that looks just as good in the hand as it does on the shoulder. allows you to access the content with one hand. The Polar 15.7" turned out to be the perfect solution. I really love this bag. First, it resets the bag's valve, which I don't think is a big deal, requires two-handed access, and often takes up the space next to the seat while I'm packing my stuff at the conference table. Its four outer pockets are magnetic. Quick access with a stylish buckle-look closure. As an added bonus, the side pockets are perfectly sized for my 12-ounce coffee mug, freeing my shackled hand. Its thick, durable leather resists sharp objects, Scratches and unforgiving furniture corners I've had the bag for 2 months now so I'm still working on the suppleness of the leather, currently the stiffness of the leather on the bezel is working against the top zips which sit flush with the bezel allowing for easy indentation. Perhaps this would solve the elongation of the band, similar to the bottom stops, but the position of the top stops on a front panel plane is a subtle design detail that allows you to open the bag with one hand. The slight pullback you see in the zipper stops when the leather opens. If the size and features of this bag suit your needs, look no further.
