I am an accountant. I ordered this laptop because my tax software required an upgrade to Windows 10 this year. I was forced and the options were slim. I was afraid of losing data so I didn't want to upgrade. (insert horror stories about previous upgrades here). I decided to add a brand new computer and use both. I also chose a laptop because of the flexibility I could have. Notably, this laptop features a backlit keyboard (so easy to see!) and a separate 10-key keyboard that lets you type numbers quickly and easily. I also like that it doesn't have a touchscreen. It baffles me to go from a system that doesn't have this capability (think my desktop, which I still use every day) to a system that doesn't. My husband's laptop has a touchscreen and I know this is a problem for me. This laptop has a solid system that allows me to open multiple applications without sacrificing system responsiveness. The screen is large enough to open multiple windows. I can even run Netflix on a small screen while working without buffering. Or does it say more about my Wi-Fi? I do not know. The sound through the headphones is incredible. I really wish it came with the Windows Office suite, but that's really my only complaint.
