....and I give this product (5) stars. I became aware of this product because of its unique properties. I've never seen a case with a fold-down pad that not only closes securely but doubles as a portable mouse pad when the laptop isn't around. This has become an important feature for me because I love using my wireless mouse, and as a student who travels and studies a lot, I can't even begin to count the number of times I've been to an area that doesn't have one gave Available surface Good quality to use my mouse. Also, it also has a front pocket, but I feel that adding books, cellphone, chargers, etc. makes the product bulky, which wasn't what I wanted. In addition, you must also keep in mind that this is not a closed bag. Aside from these features, the case is very stylish and its faux leather exterior ensures durability and the soft inner layer will not scratch my Surface laptop as advertised. That being said I wouldn't rely solely on this material to protect my Surface in a moderately heavy downpour as as others have said it has quite a few holes and the product is sewn together.
