Review on Gray Tanchen 4K Canvas Artist Portfolio Shoulder Bag With Multifunctional Features For Sketching, Painting, And Drawing by Evan Martinez

Somewhat subpar quality

I bought this to carry my art supplies when I had to take a drawing class last year. I liked that it had multiple pockets and that I could carry it on my back, unlike most portfolios. It is very flimsy, and I had to cut a piece of cardboard to put inside as a sturdy backing so that it didn't bend too much and put creases in my bristol board. It was also somewhat sloppily put together in that there were a lot of loose strings and the frayed ends of some of the fabric weren't well cut or hidden away in the seams. This didn't bother me all that much, since it functioned fine after I put the cardboard backing in it. However, after a month or so of using it, the seams on one of the pockets started coming apart altogether, and I have doubts about any longterm durability of this bag. It lasted for the semester that I needed it for, but I don't know if it would be very good for someone that would expect it to last for more than a year or so.

Pros
  • The shoulder strap is adjustable to fit different body types and can be worn cross-body or over the shoulder, depending on your preference
Cons
  • May not be practical for artists who primarily work in digital mediums
