I was thrilled. The headphones come in a small box that reminds me of a tiny cigar box. I thought that apart from actual headphones, they didn't seem innovative. I pocketed it and turned on the book. The words were crystal clear. I even heard the narrator breathe. So they sound good with audiobooks. I tried some rock, some dark swamp music, some Mozart, some pop. In fact, I heard some things that I had never heard before in the music I listened to many times. The sound quality is excellent. (I used to have Bose headphones that I got as gifts, the cable broke, I just didn't feel like spending that kind of money again.) I'm telling you this because the sound quality is almost as good. With most headphones, this cable wears out. I didn't notice anything special about the cord so I may have to use it for a while to see how long the cord lasts. Otherwise I was impressed. They fit well, do not tire the ears and do not cause discomfort. I have to use the smallest nozzles and they fit well. The headphones have markings left and right that are difficult to read, but honestly you would know if they were wrong. It's good quality at this price point, and I've tried a lot of headphones since the Bose days (probably enough to buy a couple of Bose headphones).
