I needed something that would allow me to use the same set of speakers/headphones for two separate sound sources; One was a TV with the Revain Firestick attached and the other was a desktop computer. I wanted to be able to use my Logitech speakers and connected headphones for both my smart TV and my desktop without switching or unplugging anything. They're great for that. One thing I have to say to anyone who has issues with volume levels or noise, and what has worked for me, is muting any source I'm not currently using. This means that when I used the speakers/headphones with the computer, I muted the TV/Firestick combo and vice versa, so there was no "bleeding" or hissing between them. I use it all day and switch between sources with no problem, no noticeable difference in volume or hiss. This was a quick and inexpensive fix to an annoying problem and I hope it works for you too.
