I bought this sandbox for my 2 year old girl and she loves it! While it can be a bit muddy with sand, this is easily remedied by putting a sandpit outside. Also, I did some research and the company sells sand fillers, so that's a plus.

Cute set but our little mermaid came without hair! My 4 year old daughter always loves to play in the sand. A friend recommended me a similar set. We had it for several days. It hasn't entertained her for a long time, but she keeps coming back to it. And, not entirely unexpected, but be prepared for a mess to ensue.

My 4 year old daughter loves this toy, she even merged her shell collection with the mermaid. It's hours of indoor and outdoor fun. I would highly recommend this to all children. Update: It's March 2016 and now my third child who is almost five years old is playing with the same sandpit. Still looks like new and all items included are in perfect condition. If you need a DIY sandbox, buy one from My Little Sandbox as it will last for years.

It's so cute and well done! I have twins aged 3 and they love it, they play too with minimal mess! Of course there will be a little sand, but that goes without saying. Store the sandbox in the box and place the included mat under the box for quick and easy cleaning!
