Arrived very well packaged in perfect condition just 5 days after ordering. The interior seems a little rough, so I'm wondering about long-term use? My first experimental cup tasted rich and different than my French Press coffee. My only uncertainty is the ratio of measurements and coffee if you don't want to make a full cup of coffee? I have added 1 scoop of the finest organic espresso beans to this mug filled with already boiled purified water. It took less than 3 minutes for the pot to drain. The handle got too hot as expected. My moka tasted rich, almost satisfying after fine-tuning. I recommend this pot with the understanding that it is intended for European style mocha and should not be gulped down in large American style cups. I appreciate that this pot is all steel and not aluminum but affordable. - After a week of use, I can say that I drink less coffee with more satisfaction. By placing the pan on the edge of the heating zone, the handle stays cool enough to touch. With my electric stove, I let the fire run at full blast until the noise died down. At the moment I can only recommend this kettle and am glad that I had to return much more expensive espresso machines due to a malfunction. This pot works! Update: 7 weeks later after daily use the filter and ring fell apart. Repairable?
