I picked up this ONMIER Extended Big Gaming Mouse Pad in the black map option and my son is just thrilled with it! We set him up a workstation in his bedroom which is decorated in an action adventure theme with lots of maps, flags and camouflage, so when I saw this map mouse pad, I knew he would love it! It's made of the soft foam that you are used to in a typical mouse pad. It arrived rolled up in a box, but it unfurled with no issues. There were no creases or cracks in the image, it immediately laid flat and does not curl up. The map is quite detailed in some areas, other areas are vague, but it is printed clearly and without any defects. Of course the map is really more for decoration, not for navigating ships or charting a course to the Yukon and I warned my son that any information printed on the map should be taken with a grain of salt and not used to pass any geography tests or cited as source material! All and all, it's a fun addition to an at home work/gaming station, the mouse moves over it smoothly and accurately and it gets the job done with style! We are happy!
