I don't know if there are different sizes of tools and they just included the wrong one or what. However, there is no way to align the chain breaking tool (which came with the chain) with the chain rivets. If you have your own tool that might be fine, but since the layers of the main link it connects to are also junk and fall apart after a few uses (the spring popped out and the metal is so soft that after a After a few tries, the tool is visibly deformed. Any hope of saving money is quickly dashed when you realize you need to purchase replacements for all the tools included. DO NOT BUY.
