Bright Light, True Daylight - Complex Setting

5 Stars Overall. Some smart bulbs call 5000K daylight, but you really need 6000K like this bulb delivers if real daylight is important to you. Also, 700 lumens is a decently bright light and more than other brands. The Alexa integration works well once set up. CONS: (1) Initial setup (3 stars) was difficult as the lights only work on 2.4Ghz WiFi so you must also be connected to a 2.4Ghz network to set up the lights. My phone and network manage everything automatically, so initially I couldn't connect to my lights. The trick I used was to go outside where the 2.4GHz signal was stronger, my phone switched and I was able to complete the initial setup. Now that everything is connected, I can control my lights from anywhere on my network. I think it's too much for some people, but it was really just a minor inconvenience. (2) My second complaint about these bulbs is that they flicker until adjusted via the app. For some reason one of my lightbulbs went out and just came back on. blinked again so I had to go back to my 2.4GHz connection to reconfigure it. If I wasn't at home or the weather was bad, the light would be useless. My other smart bulbs revert to "dumb mode" and just work like normal bulbs when they lose their configuration. Conclusion: These are currently the best BR30 bulbs on the market, but I'll wait for something more user-friendly before swapping out the rest of the headlights.
