I know it's a bit pricey for a night light but I used it every night while nursing. When the baby wakes up in the middle of the night and I don't want to turn on the bedroom light (which wakes my husband up and scares the baby), I unplug the light and it turns on automatically. I then tuck it under one of my bra straps while I make my son suckle, and that's enough for me to be able to see my son and help him suckle. It also protects him from my iPhone's flashlight shining in his face. The light will turn off automatically after a while, so you don't have to worry about it staying on all night when you fall asleep in bed or a cot. Also, it never gets hot, I don't worry about putting it in the crib if my son touches it or curls up next to it.
