I have been very wary of using oil on my sensitive reactive dry dehydrated skin but this is by far the best first stage cleanser I have tried. I have tried every cleansing balm (Heimish, Clinique, Banilla, Farmacy Green, Elemis, Physicians Formula, Versed and many more) and this is the best. I have found my holy grail. It removes all makeup (even stubborn waterproof mascara) without harsh rubbing. Somehow the oil washes away completely without leaving a film on my skin or stripping my sensitive skin. Many balms take everything off, but also dry out my skin or leave a film. I do a double cleanse afterwards, but I don't need it if I just apply a tinted moisturizer and some concealer. brands match. The pump is easy to use and you can easily pour some into a smaller container for a convenient ride or leave it in another bathroom in your house. This is the holy grail of first step cleaning makeup removers!
