I have a 1997 Mazda Protege DX with radio. I'm restoring it because it was my mother in law's car and she died about a year ago and I'm going to restore it and give it to one of the kids As they say I installed some hidden LED headlights with ballast after I did that that I could almost only get a couple of radios because of all the interference when the lights were on. I did some ferrite research and saw this product I just bought and when I installed it in a row between the LED ballast in the headlights about 90% of the static was gone and I was able to collect my radios . I've since bought more ferrite and installed them on my radio antenna and also on the wires coming out of my alternator and they seem to be pretty good at reducing the static noise you get on the radio in some cars if yours Turn signals flashing etc.d. if you are facing such problem I think they are worth trying.
