Compare Boroux bottles to Aquasana bottles

I bought Boroux bottles to use borosilicate glass bottles instead of Nalgene plastic bottles. Even though these Tritan bottles are BPA-free, the water still had a mild plastic taste and I didn't enjoy drinking from it. I have been very happy with the Boroux bottles, although as many have mentioned the silicone seal almost always comes loose the first time a cold bottle is opened. I found my water tasted fresh and clean and was easy to drink, so I drank more water throughout the day. I wanted more bottles but didn't want to pay a higher price for Boroux so I went with this Aquasana six pack. That's six bottles cheaper than two bottles of Boroux! Both are crystal clear with no visible ripples or bubbles in the glass. The Aquasana bottle is slightly taller and holds 50ml more than Boroux. The thickness of the Boroux glass is more durable, so it can act a little better than the Aquasana, but after using it for a long time, I don't feel that it's too negative. Affordable silicone cases for Aquasana are a great option. The Boroux bottle has a wide mouth, making it easier to pour items other than liquids (ice cubes, powders and detergents) into it. While it's fine to drink from either bottle, I find the Aquasana's narrower opening preferable to the Boroux's wider neck. The Aquasana bottle caps stayed in place the entire time I was using them, but the Boroux caps tend to keep coming loose e.g. B. when they are filled at room temperature and then placed in the fridge to cool. Personally I see both being used and I'm glad I bought both to have options. For the price, the Aquasana bottles are unbeatable. I definitely plan to buy more in the future.
